Outcomes First Group

Acorn Education is the UK’s leading education provider for children and young people with special educational needs.

We are committed to delivering outstanding education for those whose experiences of trauma or adversity may have made it seem as though such a future might be out of reach.

We work with neurodivergent children and young adults with multiple, complex and co-occurring needs – often with diagnoses such as autism, ADHD or dyslexia. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of each pupil, encouraging the development of communication, social and life skills as well as academic achievement.

Our 3 Cs Model of Trauma Informed Practice – Connect, Co-Regulate and Co-Reflect helps us to meet and respond to the underlying needs of each of our pupils. In our schools, our education and clinical teams work together to support each individual through their recovery of trauma.

With expertise, patience and an unwavering belief in each pupil’s potential, we work towards successful outcomes – for pupils, parents and local authorities too.
