Anna Abulafia
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist offering online sessions via zoom to adults (18 years +). I provide a warm, non-judgmental and confidential space in which you can talk freely and openly about your life, worries and stresses. I have a particular interest and experience in working with autistic people, and those with ADHD or AuDHD. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming with an emphasis on understanding and support to help identify strengths and work together on challenges. I also have many years of experience working with parents and carers of neurodiverse children and young people.
I have a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (University of Roehampton) and I am BACP Accredited (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have experience working in the NHS, in a GP surgery, and in a counselling agency. Alongside my private practice, I also managed a counselling service for an autism charity.
It is really important that you feel comfortable with your therapist. I offer a free, no-obligation initial 15 minute introductory session so that you can decide whether I am the right therapist for you. During this session, you can tell me a little about yourself and what you hope to get from therapy. I can also answer any questions you may have.
