Aran Hall School
Aran Hall School provides care and education for up to 26 young people with moderate/severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Pupils commencing placement at Aran Hall have frequently experienced a range of care and educational packages that have failed to achieve successful outcomes. The school's experience enables it to accept high levels of challenging behaviour in the knowledge that given time and a consistent approach children can learn more appropriate ways of responding. The focus, therefore, is on offering a stable and safe environment where the existing skills and aspirations can be allowed to develop. Every opportunity is given to exercise personal choice and to this end person centred care and education programmes are developed to maximise the pupils' potential for independence.
