Archers Brook SEMH School
Archers Brook is primarily a provision for children with an SEMH profile who need support with emotional regulation, social communication, mental health and wellbeing as well as behaviour as communication. Our wonderful pupils have a mixture of co-occurring needs such as ASC, ADHD, sensory processing and a whole host of other needs.
We are a trauma-informed school that works on the premise that research should inform practice. Our approach is therefore bespoke to each child. This includes providing play and holistic therapy, counselling, gardening, outdoor education, a full-time nurture base, outreach support, family support, two night residential for key stage 2 and three children and community visits.
