Ash House
Ash can support a maximum of 6 individuals aged 18 and over, of mixed gender with Autism and learning disabilities, and with complex and other challenging co-morbid conditions.
Ash does not provide Nursing Care. Ash’s primary purpose is to support and work with individuals to enhance and develop their skills and independence and reduce the frequency and severity of behaviours that challenge. This enables individuals in time to be able to step down to a less restrictive environment and continue along their chosen care pathway. Individual’s length of stay at Ash can depend on their individual needs and their planned care pathway. To achieve this Ash has put together a highly motivated and experienced staff team to assist and support so that each individual can reach their desired goal.
Staff at Ash will do so with a person-centred approach utilising an active support model, whilst upholding individual’s dignity, respect, and rights and ensuring autonomy and choice. At Ash, we utilise the Spectrum star as a tool to help us and the individuals we support, to identify, plan and achieve their outcomes. This tool is specifically designed for individuals with a diagnosis of Autism.
