Type of Service: Children and Family services, Adult services, Personal support services, Autism Wellbeing Centre and Workshop training skills.

The aim of Asperger East Anglia is to provide a service for children and adults with Asperger Syndrome in Norfolk and Suffolk. We supply Adult social groups, Women’s groups, Carer support groups, wellbeing service and a personal support service.

CHILDREN AND FAMILY SUPPORT: parenting information; advice and guidance including matters relating to education.

ADULT SOCIAL GROUP: Our adult social group assists adults with a diagnosis of Autism and Asperger syndrome to develop social and other life skills to promote their independence and social inclusion. The group runs fortnightly located in Norwich and Beccles

WOMENS GROUP: The group runs weekly in person and via zoom, in Norwich.

CARER SUPPORT: the group is for carers of adults and runs fortnightly in person and via zoom.

PERSONAL SUPPORT SERVICE: Our personal support provides assistance to people with Autism and Asperger syndrome to: access leisure activities; daily living skills; deal with change; develop budgeting skills; enhance independence; gain the skills to engage in community events; identify education/training/employment opportunities; increase confidence; maintain physical and mental health; reduce isolation and travel training.

AUTISM WELLBEING CENTRE: supporting Autistic people to look after their health and wellbeing; listening services for emotional support; holistic studio for yoga, meditation and breath work, led by our fully qualified practitioner; sensory room.

WORKSHOP TRAINING: electronic repairs; computer building; portable appliance testing; woodwork; furniture restoration; e bay selling and retail.
