Autism Spectrum Disorder Monitoring and Support Group

The service aims to: support those involved in educating and caring for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) so that these professionals can meet the children's varied needs; help professionals co-ordinate the service they give to children who have been diagnosed with ASD, and their families; consult with parents and carers to make sure that the support they receive is relevant and useful; and contribute to policies and decisions about services for children and young people with autism spectrum disorders. .

  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) practitioners
  • Social-care professionals
  • A senior practitioner and members of the Social Worker Children's Disability team

  • Teaching representatives from a specialist language facility
  • Teaching representatives from the Language and Learning Support Service
  • Special-school practitioners
  • Educational psychologists.
