Bourne2care Ltd

Bourne2care Ltd

I am a menopause nurse specialist and run private menopause services around the UK. I have been nursing for 36 years, I prescribe all medications and Bourne2care is CQC registered. I have completed all my training with the British Menopause Society and I write and deliver training to the NHS and organisations around the world.

I have a lot of personal experience of Autism and understand how to recognise and support Autistic women through the menopause.

Common menopausal symptoms are hot flushes, reduced confidence, aching muscles, exhaustion, brain fog and insomnia. The changing hormones can impact your quality of life and ability to cope at work and home. This often leaves women feeling over whelmed, very anxious and low.

The menopause can be challenging; however with the right understanding, often HRT and support your menopausal symptoms can be controlled and you can feel better and in control again. Listening to you makes you feel you aren't alone.

I will cater my consultations to help you feel at ease and comfortable and give additional time (if needed). You can have a partner or friend present if you wish. I'll explain the menopause, hormones, how to cope and feel better and also explain what the changes in your body mean for you.

What you need to know-

You don't need to be referred to me, you can book direct; just go to www.bourne2care.co.uk and book an appointment.

I can prescribe Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) or other non hormonal medications to help reduce hot flushes and night sweats. The private pharmacy will deliver medication directly to your home within a few days.

Online consultations are easy as all you need is a mobile phone, WIFI and a quiet are to talk.

I often write to your GP and also any psychiatrists/counsellors.

I arrange hormone blood tests. If you needed them, I arrange for a Registered Nurse to visit you at home and take your bloods. They are posted to the lab and ready 2-3 days later.

It can be a one off consultation and you then see your GP or you can continue to see me every 3-6 months.
