The school has an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) department. There is a discreet ASD provision within the severe learning disabilities (SLD) / profound and multiple learning learning disabilities (PMLD) school. There is inclusion within the main body of the school where appropriate. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
