Dr Claire Scott

Dr Scott gathers information in advance (questionnaires and reports) which I analyse prior to the consultation. I then meet with you online for discussion and feedback at the end of which I will provide my initial clinical opinion, strategies and my report which will summarise my findings. This will enable me to work out what assessment, including face to face assessment may be required.

Dr Scott works with other professionals following NICE guidelines

Dr Scott offers both Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) interview and ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule).

Follow up service: Dr Scott will offer to see the family again if they wish. Otherwise I try to give the family as much information as possible and suggest further referrals or avenues of support. This varies for each child.

Multi-disciplinary assessment: Yes I work closely with clinical psychologist, educational psychologist, occupational therapist and speech and language therapist.Dr Scott requesst separate assessment by the above professionals as required.

Further information on the services that I offer are under 'services' on my website.
