Edge Group Scotland Ltd is a Musselburgh-based transitions service for young adults who are autistic and/or have additional support needs (ASN). We work exclusively with autistic and additional support needs young adults who are transitioning into adulthood and want greater independence and control in choosing their own path.

We are proud to be person-centred support specialists, evidence-based practitioners and mentors for all of our young adults. Our mission is to inspire young adults with additional support needs (ASN) in Scotland to develop and maximise their potential through holistic, person-centred support. To motivate change, celebrate independence and inform their transition to adulthood.

• Our day service programmes are designed to support young adults with Additional Support Needs (ASN) by providing them with the skills, confidence, and experiences necessary to lead independent and fulfilling lives. We offer a comprehensive range of activities, focusing on employability, supported volunteering, independent travel training, healthy cooking, and outdoor sports. Each programme is meticulously planned and delivered by a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our participants.

Transitions Programme

• A full-time, specialist-supported day programme for School Leavers (16 -19 years old) with ASN who need a more holistic, vocational approach to support their transition to adulthood.

Life Programme

• A part-time supported day service for young adults (20 - 35 years old) with ASN that delivers opportunities to develop real-life independence while supporting them to mature in the world around them.

Edge Group Scotland Ltd provides the social care sector in Scotland with a quality-based approach to supporting the young ASN community in Musselburgh and surrounding areas. Edge Group Scotland Ltd employs autistic and neurotypical support staff, ensuring that inclusion is at the heart of what they do. Founded and based in the Lothians, Edge Group Scotland Ltd is dedicated to providing local young adults with their specialist support services. Their entire operation is run and overseen by a Registered Mental Health nurse, with over 35 years of experience. They are registered and regulated by the Care Inspectorate, Scotland.
