Glasgow Caledonian University Student Well-Being Service
The Student Wellbeing Service supports current students and applicants to GCU. This includes specific provisions made by the Disability Team for applicants and students who are autistic, or who identify with a diagnosis of autism. Examples are:
- A Summer Transition Programme for new students to GCU who have or identify with a diagnosis of autism
- Specialist Mentoring for students with a diagnosis of autism
- Guidance and advice to students who are querying a diagnosis of autism, including the availability of inclusive support at GCU
- Advice and training to academic staff on teaching inclusively of the needs of autistic students, and on reasonable adjustments for individual students
