Hope Therapy and Counselling Services
Hope Therapy and Counselling Services is a national counselling organisation that offers UK wide mental health and wellbeing support in the form of counselling and coaching for individuals, couples and families. We are an organisational member of the National Counselling Society (NCS) and have access to an array of diverse counsellors covering a large number of areas throughout England.
At Hope Therapy we offer face-to-face as well as Skype, Zoom and telephone support - allowing us to work with people on the spectrum from all across the country. At Hope, we have a specialised Autism Team consisting of highly skilled professionals with expertise in supporting adults with autism. Our team members have in-depth knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and understand the unique experiences, communication styles, and social interactions associated with autism.
Our counsellors are trained in evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address the specific challenges faced by autistic adults, and draw on a range of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), specialist trauma therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness and Integrative psychotherapy. We have extensive experience working with autistic adults, and our counsellors specialise in presentations that are common amongst individuals with autism, such as: anxiety, depression, loneliness and bullying.
