Jade Taylor Creative Counselling
I'm an integrative counsellor/psychotherapist and an AuDHD person. As a therapist, I use psychoeducation and counselling techniques through a neuro-affirmative lens to help you explore and celebrate your differences in a safe place with someone who understands and who has life experience as an autistic person.
I have additional training in different counselling modalities, and I integrate them fluidly to help you explore who you truly are away from social expectations. I aim to support you in reflecting upon and undoing all the internalised messages that you have learnt through trying to 'fit in'. Through talking, you will recognise who you are and who you want to be and begin to separate them from who you feel you are expected to be.
There is a major difference between masking out of choice and masking unconsciously for survival.
I offer face-to-face sessions in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, as well as online throughout the UK.
