Jorik Mol - Professionally Autistic

Jorik Mol - Professionally Autistic

I am an openly autistic trainer, writer and autistic activist for diversity and inclusion, specialising in neurodiversity. I'm a teacher specialising in KS3-5 and adult education, but I'm trained in supporting SEND students across Key Stages 1-5 and am able to train prospective SEND TAs.

I write books on autism and the neurodiversity paradigm. My first book with Jessica Kingsley Publishers, called Feeling Fast and Slow, will be out mid-2025 and my first book with Lived Places Publishing will be out in 2025 too. I'm a DSA-funded mentor for autistic students and autistic people via Access to Work.

I also write a weekly blog and I train organisations and professionals on autism. I am much in demand as a speaker on subjects covering education, gender and sexuality, mental health, social care, employment and autistic/neurodivergent intersectionality. The services I offer include:

  • speaking at events
  • organising/managing seminars
  • trainings; including levels 1-3 of the Core Capabilities Framework
  • creating educational materials
  • working with neurodivergent and autistic staff
  • representing and advocating for autistic students in education
  • running autistic and neurodivergent groups for adults and young people

I am willing and able to travel throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as Europe (travel restrictions permitted). I am proficient in English, Dutch, German and French. I am happy to work with you and your staff in any of these five languages. I also provide my services online. If you are interested in working with me, please contact me through 'jorik.mol@gmail.com
