Kathy Engler Counselling
I offer counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples (18+) from my comfortable and private therapy room in my home in Scissett, West Yorkshire. Sessions are usually one hour long and take place weekly; however I am flexible about this and together we can explore your needs and arrange a set of sessions that works for you. I offer sessions both online and in person.
I am a professionally qualified humanistic counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). This means that I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
As a Registered BACP Member I am required to keep to a high standard of on-going training and development and to attend regular clinical supervision to ensure I provide all my clients with an ethical, safe, and professional service.
I have worked as a counsellor with autistic people and also developed and delivered peer support groups for autistic people. My private practice is set up to provide support to autistic people and I have previously worked at a women's centre where I provided support for autistic women.
