This is an inclusive nursery school. Day sessions are 15 hours per week. Referrals for resourced special educational needs (SEN) places in the nursery school is via Hampshire Local Authority (West Hampshire Resourced Advisory Group). Nursery staff are trained in a range of strategies (timetables, taskships, picture exchange communication system (PECS), Social Stories, special time and identiplay etc.). Support is available from speech and language therapists (SALTs), occupational therapists (OTs) and physiotherapists. The Thomas Outreach Programme (TOP) provides outreach support for children under 5 years with autism spectrum condition (ASC) and social communication difficulties at home and local preschool provision. Referrals are via Lanterns to Hampshire Local Authority (LA). Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
