Neuropsychology Dorset

Neuropsychology Dorset

Neuropsychology Dorset provide specialist psychological services across West Dorset and surrounding areas. We can also provide virtual input meaning we can reach further afield. The service is made up of HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists, each whom have many years of experience working within NHS settings including neuropsychological and diagnostic services.

Autism Assessment

At Neuropsychology Dorset we understand the value that comes with understanding and making sense of your life. Autism unfortunately was not understood in the past as much as it is today. More and more people are therefore living with an underlying undiagnosed autism. We feel a diagnostic assessment can be empowering for self-awareness and support in areas of a persons life such as improving their relationships, education, and employment.

Dr Neil Drew specialises in assessment of autism spectrum conditions. He has experience in conducting diagnostic assessments within both NHS and private settings. The assessment involves use of standardised tools such as the ADOS-2, AAA, ADIR, and additional psychometric tests. Post-diagnostic support is also available to help make sense of the diagnosis. We also provide psychological therapy for anxiety conditions and mood disorders.

We accept people from anywhere in the UK, although our clinic is based in Dorchester, Dorset. We offer face to face and virtual appointments.
