Prior's Court Training & Development Centre
Prior's Court School
Prior's Court Training & Development Centre offers autism-specific training for professionals, practitioners, and parents working or living with autistic individuals. Courses are delivered by a team of experienced practitioners with extensive experience of working with autistic young people with complex needs. Courses include TEACCH programmes run in conjunction with the University of North Carolina.
TEACCH is an evidence-based approach to learning for autistic people of all ages. It is at the very heart of Prior’s Court approach and the charity has strong links with the University of North Carolina where TEACCH originated. An exceptional number of Prior’s Court staff are TEACCH-trained, while two staff are TEACCH Certified Advanced Consultants (around 30% of the UK's total TEACCH Certified Advanced Consultants).
