The Social Farm

The Social Farm

The Social Farm is a care farm providing health, social or specialist educational care services for individuals with a defined need, through a programme of farm-related activities; activity examples include feeding our wide array of farm animals, sheep shearing, mucking out the stables, fencing, building bird boxes, maintaining our woodland area, fishing, or even just having a game of mini golf. Our care services are structured, supported and bespoke for each individual, and are usually funded via PIP or Direct Payments via Local Authorities.

Our programmes consist of a number of sessions, which generally run from 10am to 2pm one day per week, over a period of weeks/months, depending on the needs of the client and the availability of funding. We do have some flexibility with how and when sessions are delivered, so if other times or frequencies are required, we can often accommodate for this.

We accept clients from anywhere in the UK, but most are local as the services we provide are in-person on a weekly basis.
