Triple A Project
Triple A offers a range of supports and activities for autistic people and works to improve understanding and acceptance of autism and autistic ways of being. We offer:
- One-to one mentoring through our Navigator service, helping autistic people set and work towards self-determined goals. This service is available to some older teens as well as adults
- Our Inclusion at Work service offers employment related support and advocacy for autistic adults at any life stage and any stage of employment, from those just starting out or looking to volunteer, to successful professionals looking for a little extra guidance and support. We also offer training and support for employers
- Our Discover Your Autism courses are autistic led, NHS funded, post-diagnosis courses. Courses are delivered in-person or online in small groups, for two hours a week, over six weeks. Course content is co-produced and everyone attending each course will be autistic, including our professional trainers and co-trainers (courses currently available by CNTW referral in North Cumbria only)
- We also offer a range of social and activity groups both online and in-person across Cumbria including late-diagnosis groups for ages 40+, a Penrith art group and two Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. We are hoping to expand our range of shared interest groups, ideas welcome. If you are autistic, you don't need to wait until you feel you need support to be a part of our community
Co-production and lived-experience is at the heart of everything we do. All Triple A staff and trustees have some level of lived experience, most are either autistic or neurodivergent.
