The service offers variety to individuals and promotes independence through Person Centred Planning. Within the house activities available include; computers for learning, leisure and games, cookery and social activities. The large garden is currently being transformed into areas to provide stimulating and relaxing interests such as vegetable and flower pots, a water feature and a hard court area to encompass everyone's preferences.
Service users are supported to use the facilities in local areas. The services is also registered as an ASDAN Centre of Learning. Visits to local sites of interest take place regularly and everyone is offered an annual holiday, usually accompanied by one or two house friends. The service has its own transport available but encourages the use of public transport.
Individuals using the service are referred and funded by Social Services. The service will also accept self-referrals.
