Understanding Autistic Overwhelm, Meltdowns & Shutdowns

An introduction to understanding autistic overwhelm, meltdowns and shutdowns for parents and carers of autistic children (any age) in the South West (no diagnosis required).

In the session we will explore sensory sensitivities, anxiety, communication difficulties and a range of other issues can contribute to distress. We will discuss:

  • Autistic Overwhelm, shutdowns and meltdowns
  • What causes distress
  • How to support autistic people in distress

This is an online information session and will be held using Zoom.
